wow, i’m the first!!!! I’m glad that I’m not the only one who likes Tennant as the Doctor. Funny thing, the first episode of the new Doctor Who I saw was the one in which Christopher Eccleston turned into David Tennant so it didn’t shock me as much as those who saw season one from the begninning. After watching the rirst season completely I understood a lot of people’s frustration but I also still enjoy Tennant’s rendition or everyone’s favorite Timelord. After seeing episode 1 of season 3 I’m also very pleased with Freema Agyeman’s replacement of Billie Piper as the new companion. Maybe it’s me, but I also find her to be cuter

I haven’t seen Transformers yet but I think that Ratatouille as the must see movie of the summer. I’ll admit I’m biased just because I’m a huge Pixar fan

I really enjoyed Transformers. I went in trying to keep my preconceptions as hidden away as possible. I wasn’t going to worry if Prime looked stupid with flames. I wasn’t going to care if the voices didn’t fit them. I wasn’t going to care if the kids were total effing morons. And you know what?
I enjoyed it. A lot. I got every cents worth of the admission fee out of it, and the fact that I went to a late night session which was practically empty was a definite bonus.
Now to see how Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix looks this weekend.

The Final Battle of Transformers was NOT in New York. If you paid attention to the Air Force Captian who said that whatever City is only 40 miles away. It was just before they left Hoover Dam.
Soundwave was not in Transformers. The small boom box was Frenzy, in G1 it was one of Soundwave’s tapes.
Just some minor corrections. Keep up the good show.

Just a quick correction about your discussion on Soundwave in the transformers movie… it wasn’t Soundwave, but Frenzy. In the cartoon, Frenzy was one of Soundwave’s tape. He was the twin of Rumble.
Everybody should definitely see Transformers in the theatre though. It’s a blast and should not disappoint any fans! (except the minor quibbles though).

The only cities within 40 miles of The Hoover dam (according to google maps) is Las Vegas, Kingman, Bullhead City and a couple other small towns. So not new york…maybe Las vegas (well within 40 miles), just not the strip?

Another movie for the Vietnam marathon, The Killing Fields.

I just found a doctor serial podcast. Though the last episode seems to have been made 11/07/2006 it’s pretty good. You can check it out at http://www.darkerprojects.com/doctorwho.html

Couple more pairings:
Earth Girls are Easy/The Long Kiss Goodnight
Beetlejuice/Pacific Heights -or-
Beetlejuice/Malice
Lost in Space/Altered States
Transformers rocked!
So did Live Free or Die Hard and Ratatouille

Debbie had the phrase that pays…life is fluid that’s why we drink.
Watched all of Doctor Who season three and while all were good, the episode Blink was excellent and by far my favorite.

Thought of a good jackmen movie pairing: The Prestige and VanHelsing.
