Wingin’ It 3D #015: Voicemail Show
Get ready it’s number 15.
This is the show for our fans and listeners! Voicemails, emails, we want to hear your comments and feedback. If you tickle Michael’s fancy or have something interesting to discuss you could make it into the main show.

This week, Michael, Brian, Brian Richardson from WhatTheCast, Kris, and Debbie ponder, debate, bicker and pick apart your voicemail submissions.
Submitting Listener comments: If you have any suggestions or comments, please let us know. You can now leave a voicemail comment in the comments section of the show, or call our Voicemail Number, 206-600-GEEK, or email Michael with a comment you’ve recorded yourself.
Tomorrow there will be a brand new show.

Mike, the past few Farpoint shows I’ve had a problem with the Show cutting off after your Podango opener. I’ve got the whole show, but I have to go back and play because it plays the opener then stops, marking the show in iTunes as if it finished playing.

Same thing is happening as on the latest SoSF. The Podango intro plays and then playback stops (at least in iTunes and on an iPod). The solution is to scrub to 0:06 before playing, but I wonder at why this is…perhaps a semi drove over the affected spot? Or perhaps the guys are getting paid each time the promo is played (multiple times if listeners are trying to figure out what’s going on)

those having trouble with the podcast, just fast forward a little. works fine past that point. had to do that with slice on Darcy’s Ipod. Mine all the shows worked fine first time out.
You all shouldn’t make such a big deal about Darcy and I donating. First I am supporting great shows and helping out friends. And as far as Darcy giving up her allowance for a month, yes that was all her idea. But that was the first month her arms weren’t tired from all the braclets she buys.

LOL
Do donate folks, these guys deserve it. And don’t forget the Joe Murphy fund. I have been remissed in not mentioning that when I ask.

I’ve tried the fast forward in both I-Tunes and on my I-Pod. On the I-pod it just won’t fast forward at all and the device freezes up for 10-20 seconds. The only thing to do is skip to the next item on the playlist. On I-Tunes it will play for 30-60 seconds and then just stop again. Actually, I think it stops t each edit point, every time their is a transition to and from a voicemail clip or other segment. It must be something in Mike’s editing software. This has happened to both the “Slice” and “Wingin’It” Voice mail shows this week. The regular Slice show seemed to work fine.

Sorry the smurfing voice mails. I don’t know why Mike plays them if hate so much. I hope they get the shows hang ups fixed.

Folks - We’re working at getting a fix for the pre-roll freezing and such. MOst folks are able to just skip past it and get the show to play. If you are NOT of those folks, hang tight we’re working on it.

BTW, when I say I work in traffic, I mean scheduling commercials, not reporting from a helicoptor. Of course, if I had a helicoptor, it would have the Dodge symbol on it…
Oh, and having problems with the open as well, but I just FF past it.

Thanks for clearing that up, Trampas. My mind did flash to: “And now, with KZZD rush-hour traffic report, here’s Trampas Whiteman!”
