About

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away… These are the voyages of the Starship

Wingin’ It 3-D is the third incarnation of a long, respected tradition of fine, fine entertainment. Well… WE think we’re entertaining!

It is our mission to provide our listeners with enjoyable banter, humorous content and hopefully a laugh or two. Our listeners are more than just our audience; they are also participants in this journey. We all seem to enjoy the same things — geeky stuff, libations, and laughter.

We hope you listen in, enjoy the content and contribute something yourself if you feel so inspired.

The esteemed Host — Michael R Mennenga

Mike is the guy doing double duty on the show. He’s not only the host of the show, but also the guy responsible for making everyone sound so damned good. Mike is the ONLY constant to this crazy place and he is gracious to open his doors to anyone who wanders into Draco Vista.

Mike is also the HMFIC for FarPoint Media when he’s not busy creating a Podcasting Empire. He enjoys long walks on the beach, pina coladas and shaving his head…oh and beer, the darker the better!

The Chorus of Voices ™ –

Brian Brown — Not as busy as Summer is in the FarPoint Media universe, but he’s coming awfully close! You can find him on Dragonpage Cover to Cover, Slice of Sci Fi and with The Kick Ass Mystic Ninjas.

Tim Adamec — Tim is one half of the Food Geeking podcast. Tim can also be heard occasionally on the B5 Podcast as a new convert and he also chimes in on Slice of SciFi.

Charlie The Beer Guy — He’s the beer guru with an interesting taste in movies. He rocks because he always brings some sort of brew with him and Charlie is becoming the master of one liners. He’s also the host of Speaking of Beer

Kris Mayo (The Official Chef of WI3D) — The lovely half of the Food Geeking team. Kris is the bringer of cheesecake and other sundry food items.

Jack Mangan — Jack’s the brains behind Duel of the Fates, the author of Spherical Tomi and the host of his own show, Jack Mangan’s Deadpan. We’re glad to have Jack back and part of the chorus of voices.

Debbie (a.k.a. Debbie from East Mesa/She who likes the Tentacles) — Debbie has been hanging out and chiming in with the snark for a while. If she ever gets out of hand, we have ropes!

Eliza (The Cutie Death/Necromantic Queen) — What can you say after that?? Eliza brings perkiness to the chorus. She also brings us wonderful treats to keep the horde moving.

Alec (a.k.a. Clichékiller) — Alec brings geek to a whole different level. Trust me, the man knows about Smurfs in an unnatural sort of way!

Rhettro — He’s a rockstar or at least he plays one on TV.

Lorrie — Mike’s better half or should I say much better looking half!

Mom! — Pat will often join us and listen in even though she doesn’t say much at least she can laugh at our stupidity.

The Silent Studio Audience™ – That’s anyone who shows up at Draco Vista and watching the show. Usually they don’t comment but occasionally they’ll say “Hi!”
